The Toulouse School of Economics (TSE) launched a bold brand redesign to move beyond the typical focus on academic excellence, embracing the concept of “Economics for the Common Good.” This shift in approach was inspired by the philosophy and book of Nobel laureate Jean Tirole, which asserts that economic knowledge should serve the well-being of society. The design solution began with a new logo, an acronym that also represents care and protection, aligning with the philosophy of the common good. The visual identity was further brought to life through imagery that captured the power of collaboration and human connection, truly reflecting TSE’s dedication to creating a better, more equitable world through economics.
